Kannon is a manufacturing partner that specializes in welding, assembly and machining with full fabrication capabilities. Forty years in, with 80+ people across two Fort Worth locations totaling more than 100,000 square feet. The work is lasting partnerships — repeating programs for heavy equipment, boom trucks, aerial lift platforms, trailers, oil and gas, data centers, power engines, and warehouse automation.

Kannon Manufacturing is the Fort Worth, Texas contract manufacturer at 5129 Vesta Farley Rd and isn't affiliated with similarly named companies such as Kannon Manufacturing Technologies in New Jersey.

Kannon takes work from drawing review through cutting, machining, forming, welding, assembly, and inspection.

Machining

10 CNC lathes and 11 CNC mills, plus manual machining support.

Cutting and forming

2 Amada lasers, 3 Hyd-Mech saws, 1 shear, 4 press brakes, and plate rolling.

Welding and assembly

3 OTC welding robots (including a 16 ft slider), 30 manual MIG/TIG bays, tube bending, assembly, and inspection.

How a job moves through the shop

Drawings come in. We quote the work, route it through the right combination of machining, cutting, forming, welding, tube bending, rolling, and assembly, and inspect it before it ships.

  • Lasers and forming: 2 Amada lasers (9 kW and 3 kW) for 5 ft. x 10 ft. sheet and plate, 18 GA to 3/4 in. carbon steel and 18 GA to 1/2 in. stainless and aluminum, and 4 press brakes up to 250 tons.
  • Kannon operates a thorough, ISO-compliant quality system.
  • Kannon coordinates powder coating, paint, and e-coating through outside finishing partners, so customers get finished parts with one point of contact.
