Dallas–Fort Worth
Metal fabrication in Dallas–Fort Worth.
Kannon is a manufacturing partner that specializes in welding, assembly and machining with full fabrication capabilities. For DFW programs, welding comes first, then assembly, then machining. Laser cutting, press-brake forming, tube bending, and rolling support that work. The shops are in Fort Worth — two locations, more than 100,000 square feet — with our primary facility at 5129 Vesta Farley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76119.
Welding, then assembly, then machining
Kannon takes repeating OEM programs, not one-off job-shop work. Start with the process that carries the part.
Welding
Production and robotic welding come first: 30 manual MIG/TIG bays, 3 OTC welding robots (including a 16 ft slider), and AWS D1.1, D1.3, 80K, and 100K qualifications.
Assembly
Fit-up and turnkey weldment assembly stay in the same Fort Worth shops as the welding and the machined parts.
CNC Machining in Dallas-Fort Worth
10 CNC lathes and 11 CNC mills in Fort Worth. Machined parts feed welded assemblies in the same shops.
Fabrication that supports the weldment
Sheet and plate work, cutting, forming, and tube bending stay in the same Fort Worth buildings as welding and assembly.
Sheet and plate fabrication
Amada laser cutting and press-brake forming for the blanks and panels that go into a weldment. This supports welding and assembly.
Cutting
Two Amada lasers (9 kW and 3 kW), three Hyd-Mech saws, and a shear for sheet, plate, tube, and expanded metal.
Forming and rolling
Four Accurpress and Safan press brakes up to 250 tons, and plate rolling up to 48 in. wide.
Industrial fabrication
Cut-to-assembly work for skids, frames, and container-scale programs across the two Fort Worth buildings.
Tube bending
Manual tube bending with dies for square, round, and rectangular tube that feeds welding.
Finishing
Kannon coordinates powder coating, paint, and e-coating through outside finishing partners, so customers get finished parts with one point of contact.
